I have cherry barbs, neon tetras and zebra danios. These pellets fit perfectly into their little mouths. I also like that can be sinking or floating so it helps all the fish get their portion of food. I purchased a different brand of small pellet but they're not as micro as these.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Glofish tetra love!

My glofish tetras we're less than enthusiastic about the branded flake food. I did some research and decided to try these pellets because they're smaller for my new tetras' mouths. I'm so glad I did. The fish really seemed to enjoy this food. Not one pellet made it to the bottom of the tank. I will absolutely buy this again.

Yes, I recommend this product.

MICRO FOR SURE! i’m actually so happy that I found this food it’s perfect for all tetras and any type of pico fish especially when it comes to nano fish it’s really hard to feed those types of fish because they have small melts and honestly I’ve been feeding these and I’ve never had an issue with them and if you need a few smaller just crush them up and you’re done.

Yes, I recommend this product.

So does the food sink or float

  1. Floats

Can apistogramma eat these micro pellets?

  1. For smaller sized fish this is a good option. You can also consider Vibra Bites as another great option as they grow larger or use the Vibra Bites Bay if smaller.

Can I feed this to my platies and swordtails?

  1. Yes

Are these okay for zebrafish?

  1. Pellet size they’d be great for zebra fish! Nutrition wise not sure.

are these good for shrimp like bamboo shrimp?

  1. I have never had shrimp but from what I've read, they eat left over food particles. These pellets are super tiny and shrimps seem to have larger mouths then some fish so they would probably slurp them up! I'd try the pellets.....

Will this food work for tetras, molly's, and guppies?

  1. YES! My tetras and guppies love it.

Can I feed these to my mollies?

  1. Absolutely...it's only up to the fish if they like them or not and want to stick with flakes. Even my betta loves micro pellets.

Can you feed this to bettas

  1. Absolutely as long as it's small enough for them to eat and of course if they like it. I let my bettas try different foods. They love Freeze Dried Blood Worms and Petco always has them on sale online for a good price compared to pet store prices. There is also a betta photo on the container. (I actually need more as I just used my last bit...).
