Higgins Sunburst might have a bit more of a variety, but this good is very similar! It also has 0 sugar which is great for dwarfs who are prone to diabetes. + Adding mealworms or lab blocks to your hamster’s diet makes up for the 15% protein which isn’t horrible but is better to be around 17-18%. Overall, this is a great seed mix, but still make sure to do your research to make sure your hamster has a balanced diet.

It's okay, but it doesn't have as much variety as higgins sunburst. But since my hamster is going to be getting older this year, I think it will be a better option.

if i were a hamster, i think that i would enjoy this mix however moomoo had other ideas. she didn't even stash it. she left it in the dish that it was offered in. so this was not to her liking.

Higgins Vita Garden Hamster & Gerbil Food is perfect for me. I have both hamsters and gerbils so only having to buy one formula is great. My gerbils LOVE the long fiber sticks that are in the bag and tend to go for them immediately. It is also all natural so you know you are feeding your rodents right.
