Fill your pet's food container with as much food as it will consume within a day. Gradually introduce Sunburst to your pet with its regular diet so as to not upset its digestive system. Remove uneaten food prior to refilling feed bowl. Always maintain fresh drinking water near your pet's food container. Store in a cool, dry place free of insects and humidity. Refrigerate for extended storage.

is this good for syrian hamsters ?
- Yes, this is one of the better seed mixes for hamsters, but you should also add in a good, balanced block food like Mazuri Rat and Mouse too.

How much should you feed Syrian hamsters and how often should you feed them?
- You should probably give them 1 to 2 tablespoons every other day depending on your hammie. I have a Syrian and a winter white, and they are very happy with it.

- I have five female mice and they love this food, been feeding it to them about three years now, hope this helps, you might also give them oxbow rat food, these two foods gives them everything to grow and be healthy and strong.

- I would say yes....since Hamsters and Gerbils are in the same rodent family...I have a hammy. But would be fine giving it to a gerbil as well

- It's the 18th ingredient (listed by weight), so not much but enough to add to the variety of this mix. They are small, shaved pieces.

Can I feed this to my dwarf hamster?
- Yes you can. Just watch the amount of sugar in your hamsters diet, as they are prone to diabetes. Keep fresh fruit minimal if you aren't using a food formulated for dwarf hamster sugar levels

Is this food good for picky eaters? My hamster is really picky about her food and I haven't found a good mix that she really likes. Also, what type of seeds are in it? I would love to know to see if she would like this blend.
- A way you can get your hamster to not be picky is only feed it 2 tablespoons every other day.
