We usually use Roudybush or Lafaeber pellets with our 13 cockatiels, but with the holidays I messed up and ordered too late so I had to get this in a pinch. It was more expensive than the 10lb bag of Roudybush and the birds hated it. They just literally tossed it all on the floor. What didn’t end up on the floor ended up in the water bowls and left a really gross film on the bowls that was super hard to get off. The smell was really strong too idk if that’s why the birds didn’t like it. We are going to grind it up and feed what is left to our meal worms.

The natural colors grabbed my attention, and as soon as I opened the bag I noticed the pleasant, mildly fruity aroma. My cockatiel was hesitant to eat pellets but with a little encouragement now likes this almost as much as seed, and honestly more than most seeds except millet. I have noticed that certain colors disappear first, leaving a bowl with just the other colors, but they all eventually get eaten and which ones disappear first varies over time.
