Healthy Select Small Animal Alfalfa Hay smells like fresh alfalfa hay. The 15 oz bag is about a cubic foot, so it’s quite a bit. I have a bearded dragon and they eat alfalfa as a staple food. I thought I would try this for her. She’s a bit of a picky eater and this was not her favorite. She did like to play around in it though. I’m sure it would be great for rabbits, guinea pigs and other small rodents. Unfortunately ours recently passed so we couldn’t try it as intended. Overall it’s a good product.

Alfalfa hay for my senior rabbit as supplemental hay. The bag smells like tea leaves. Very compressed in the bag. You get a lot in this little bag. Lots of leaves and stem parts which my rabbit can choose from.

My Chinchillas both love this alfalfa. We only feed it as a treat, but every time we get the bag out they try to get into it. It has a nice sweet smell as well. Also lasts quite a while if stored properly.
