I feed my dogs Pure Balance Trout + Lentils (has probitics) mixed with Purina One Beyond Small Bites Lamb and Rice(has the joint support in it as well so that’s nice!) . Can you take a look at the ingredients? They don’t have any grain allergies as they tolerate Cheerios as their training treats but I liked Pure Balances Ingredients and the Purina One has not as well but they eat the food readily with the better brand and plus has free joint supplement in it. I am considering transitioning my puppy from hills science to merrick grain free dry dog food. Is merrick a good brand? What are the benefits of grain free dry dog food? What are the differences in feeding a dog salmon Vs chicken vs lamb vs duck?

I have a 3yo Malinois that constantly scratches, chews his feet and shakes his head. We have literally tried everything with the vet guidance. He is on Apoquel now. Blood test just came back positive for dust/storage mites, cats, feathers and flax. My question is: in my search for a dog food without flaxseed, I notice the brands have treats, can or other formulas with flax in them: couldn’t this potentially contaminate the bags that are “flax free”? My Pug has allergies He chews his front feet and scratches his face and develops ear infections I feed him Hills Science Diet Chicken and Barley wet food which he loves. Should I change to a Grain Freed food or take him off Chicken ? The vet just continues to give him steroids and anti itch sprays
My cockatiel has been eating Leferber’s Premium Daily Diet pellets as a staple diet. She’s also been eating broccoli everyday. I also give her a bit of crushed eggshells once or twice a week. She has a cuttlebone available at all times. I’m wondering if this would be an okay product to give her? She isn’t much of a veggie eater. Will this be beneficial or unnecessary for her? Hi! I am considering changing Addy’s food over to Taste of the Wild High Prairee puppy food. It’s grain free and has lean proteins and a 28% protein content. Currently she is on Blue Buffalo large breed puppy food that has whole grains. She is experience soft stool in the evening. I believe this may be from her food? Blue Buffalo is chicken based, and she does drink lots of water. She just had a vet appt, no presence of parasites in her stool. Any recommendations?
