My dog is biting at a spot on her back and it's red and raw. We have an inflatable collar on her which helps to keep her from biting the spot but when the collar is off she goes back to biting the spot.

I just left the hospital with my 11 y/o chihuahua today for a dislocated knee, and on the ride back noticed that he has a new dark spot on his neck. I noticed because his hair was floofed out more than usual. It is the texture of like a soft swollen irritation. It’s a dark rust color/almost black in some spots and the size of a half dollar (on a teacup chihuahua it seems quite large. What type of bump like that grown so quickly?
