Harlequin Basslet are very hardy additions to just about any aquarium. Harlequin Basslets have a large adult size compared to other Basslets of 11". As they grow the Harlequin might make a meal out of small ornamental shrimps and crabs. They are pretty peaceful, but can become territorial towards other bottom dwellers. Housing one Harlequin Basslet would be best for success. Feed these fish small meaty foods a couple times a day since they have a high metabolism. They will be eagerly taking more processed foods fairly quickly. This attractive guy has a cream-colored body and brown/black pattern that is irregular. The Harlequin Basslet is found within the Western Atlantic inhabiting areas with rock where they can seek refuge. They are typically found singly or in pairs up to 40 meters deep.

ACCLIMATION: Avoid exposing new aquatic life to bright lights after opening the box. Turn off aquarium lights prior to floating aquatic life. Allow the sealed bag with your new fish to float in your aquarium for at least 15 minutes (but no longer than one hour) to ensure the water in the bag matches the temperature in your aquarium. A bacteria booster addition can assist with the addition of new aquatic life. Petco offers free water testing in store to determine if your water is safe for the addition of new aquatic life. DIET: A well-balanced diet consists of a variety of flakes, pellets, freeze-dried and frozen foods, depending on the species. FEEDING: Feed sparingly and no more than fish can eat in 1-2 minutes. Overfeeding can quickly foul the water, especially in smaller aquariums.
If we need to contact you for any reason about your order, shipping of your package may be affected. Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email with your order summary. Orders are subject to verification of payment information by phone or email. We ship for arrival to the customer Tuesday through Friday and Saturday for an extra charge where available.

I have 2 salmenese tiger fish and two smaller fish in approximately 3.5 L bowl. I bought them on 1 April. 3 act normal but one act abnormal from first day. One salmenese tiger fish doesn't move much first it stayed at bottom now it's gapping at surface and if I try to catch to check it it goes down again. It's fins are turning red or I don't know if it already was. I don't understand how to help. Parents are out town so I can't go to shop. I am not sure if all are eating food.

I have bought 2 parrot cichlids about 20 days ago. One of the parrot fish is constantly hiding behind the filter. Eating well but when it comes out to swim the other parrot fish keeps pinching it and doesn't allow to it to move around in the tank. I don't understand the problem. Please suggest what to do. Also the color of the fish is bit dull as compared to other one.
