Good litterbox for large cat
My cat is big (about 16 pounds) and I spent a lot of time looking for a litterbox that was large enough for him to move around. This litterbox is a great size. It fits a larger than average cat but is not enormous.
I also wanted a litterbox with a top exit so that less litter comes out of the box. I like how this one allows the cat to enter from the front but only exit out the top. The way it opens in the front to scoop it is also very convenient. I have never seen any other litterbox like it. The lid also detaches completely if you need to replace the litter.
The holes of the top of the lid for the litter to fall back inside seem nice, but a good amount of litter still sits on the top anyways since it is completely flat. Litter can also pile up on the sides of the litterbox just under the door that you open to clean it. The scoop that came with the litterbox was different than the one the one shown in the picture on the website, but I probably wouldn't have used it anyways since I have a metal scoop that works well.
Overall, I would recommend this litterbox to anyone, but especially someone with a big cat. My cat figured out how to use it right away and seems to like it.
