I just got this dog and am a little rusty on dog ownership I've been giving her about 2 cups of dry dog food twice a day. Is that enough or too much? should I just leave out a self-dispensing water container? I don't know if I should regulate her water intake.
My 3 year old neutered great Dane doesn't know when to stop eating or drinking. He got into a bag of food a while ago and he was so fat he looked pregnant. We took him to get treated to reduce chance of bloat. With the hot weather I wanted to put a water dispensing bowl for him and my labrador. I'm concerned that he'd drink all the water. Is there something I can do to teach him not to do that. He's been this way since a puppy. He eats and drinks away from the others.
My baby drinks so water a day, he goes thru 2 automatic water dispensers in a day, he has started peeing,pooing in the living room extra dining area and hallway leading to his personal bathroom with 3 litter boxes he fills his litter boxes within a day after they are changed, (I have started looking for automatic kitty litter changers) he eats only cat food and he fills his boxes up quick, I'm at a loss on what to do I'm worried about my baby please help if he has diabetes can he die? I'm scared
I tried introducing his water bottle but he only uses his bowl so I stopped with the bottled or a while now, how can I teach him to use it? Thanks

Why my pets doesnt want to eat either pellet or carrot.My pets only want drink a plenty water.
We have a 17 year old border collie Springer mix at approx 50 pounds. She is happy and eat I g regularly. We assist her to poop about every 4 hours. She has slight lee problems. Inside and has unlimited water. Can we regulate her water intake to stop indoor accidents when we are at work if we give her the remainder of her water requirements when we are home.
I have an automatic pet feeder that has 2 containers. One opens at 7am and the other at 7pm. I just realized that they both opened at 7am and Luna ate pretty much all the food for the day (1/2 cup). Will she get hungry at night so do I feed her more food later or do I not give her anything because she alreadybate her whole day's portion?
I'm sorry the site wouldn't let me submit my puppy information. I have an 2 month puppy mixed breed havanese & Chihuahua. I usually leave a bowl of cool water out but he refuses to drink it, so i went and got a training water bottle and he still refusing to drink it.
My dog drinks from her water bowl several times per day. (Usually after her meals and her walk.) is she getting enough water do you think? I don't know how to measure how much she's drinking because my family has three dogs at home. Would a pet water fountain help her drink more? Should I add 1/2 cup of water to her dry food at each meal, or is this overkill? Thanks!
Our dam is still feeding her 3 pups a lot. They do eat dry food now too but I'm not sure how to get them to eat more and drink less?
