Can anyone confirm if Halo has changed the dry cat food recipe recently - specifically for the Grain-free chicken recipe? We noticed it smells different, color is darker and our cats won't eat it anymore after 4 yrs of only eating this brand. Please help!
- I cannot confirm a recipe change, but I did encounter a similar bag of food like you did. My cats ate it, but at a slower rate than normal. The bag I just opened a couple days ago seems to be back to normal. My cats are much happier & eating it quicker again. Hoping this was just a fluke in one batch....

Is it safe to feed this to Chiweenies who weigh 11 and 14 pounds and are just a little overweight? Have been feeding small bites dog Chicken and Chicken liver Halo dry, My Petco seems to never have the smaller bags in stock and I prefer to buy more freq
- I'm no veterinarian but I've read many times that since dogs do not need as much protein as cats you should NOT feed a dog cat food.

what is the best kitten food? I use kitten chow now but I like Halo but didn't see any by them.
- Halo can be fed to kittens. They have kitten directions right on the can. Probably on the bag too.
