Questions
Which of these recipes for cats *does not* have garlic or onion poweder? My cat has CKD and I heard that garlic or onion powder shouldn't be fed to cats with CKD
- I'm not sure about the garlic or onion (I didn't think that any of Halo canned foods had onion or garlic in them). But I would like to tell you that as an owner of a cat with CKD I had to stop using Halo canned cat foods because they have Tri-Calcium phosphate in them. UC Davis suspects that the high phosphate content of many cat foods may be contributing to the epidemic of kidney disease in cats. They recommend prescription diets with special formulas for CKD.

Will this cat food help with hairballs and digestive issues? My cat often throws up after eating and has difficulty with hairballs. I would like to try this, but it wasn't clear to me from the description if it would help.

Can you be more specific with that last answer. I do not see a Halo Adult Cat Grain Free canned recipe. My cats also hate pate. Some labels say pate and some do not. What is the texture of the ones that don't say pate. What about 3oz cans?

Is this in chunks or pate? My cat hates Pate food.
