Using the chart on the package, divide the total cups per day by the total number of times you feed your dog per day to determine the portion size for each meal. Keep a clean bowl of fresh water available at all times. Every dog is a little different, so optimal feeding amounts may vary with age, size and activity level. Please use the information on the feeding chart as an initial recommendation only and adjust when needed. Dry and wet food in combination will help to increase the level of water in your dog's diet. If feeding with wet food, reduce dry amount by 1/2 cup for every 6 oz. of wet food. Transitioning: Gradually mix in Halo Elevate over a 5-7 day period, increasing the amount each day.

Eats core wellness grain free ocean formula because of unknown allergy (licks her paws all the time). Finished a 26 lbs bag already but zero difference. Also taking vetriscience derma strength for few months now. Prefer supplements (chews) that med (Benadryl). My pup currently eats the costco kirkland adult dog chicken, vegetable, and rice (pinkish bag on their site). However, time to time she eats grass outside or doesn't eat her food. cheap dog food that helps dogs liver
I want to prepare a homemade diet for my 6 month old havanese puppy . It consists the following , chicken meal , chicken organs(liver,heart,neck) ,pumpkin ,carrot ,mustard greens ,apples,yogurt,seaweed ,red lentil ,barley . She is currently eating acana small breed kibble but she doesn't like the taste of it . Would you help me modify my dog's diet to avoid any possible deficiencies ?
My terrier mix (DNA pic attached) turns 1 today (estimated birth date-she's a rescue). I feed her Hills Science Diet large breed puppy formula-I would like to transition her to a new food. She is mildly overweight in which she is active but her hips are probably not as defined as they should be. She currently weighs 68Ibs. I would like to transition her to Taste of the Wild Salmon. She goes on x4 25 min walks a day. Is this a good food to help her maintain a healthy weight and be active? Thanks!
