Is the Halo Elevate dog food Non GMO? I know my dogs previous Halo dog food was but it’s been discontinued so I switched to this
- We only use Non GMO vegetables in Halo Elevate. If your local store no longer carries the Halo Holistic recipe you love, we recommend searching online. Nearly all of our Halo Holistic recipes are still available. Thanks! -Ryan

My terrier mix (DNA pic attached) turns 1 today (estimated birth date-she's a rescue). I feed her Hills Science Diet large breed puppy formula-I would like to transition her to a new food. She is mildly overweight in which she is active but her hips are probably not as defined as they should be. She currently weighs 68Ibs. I would like to transition her to Taste of the Wild Salmon. What is the best food to feed a 55-pound highly active hound? I was told to switch to grain free, but her stool has been mucous like and runny. I've tried Redford Naturals Limited Ingredient (I've tried chicken, beef, sweet potato) and American Journey Limited ingredient (lamb). Just looking to find the best dog food for a very active hound that won't break the bank. Also, I'm concerned with all this news of heart problems linked with specific foods.
Bought purina one lamb and rice. Concerned on an ingredient. Chicken by product meal? Was taught bad for dogs and can be diesed animals. Mixing with 80 to 20 ratio of food the 80 percent is pure Balance trout and lentils grain free. But some of you say grains are good and they don’t have an allegry as they eat grained dog treats and Cheerios with no problems. This is Kyro, my 1st dog I've had for 7 months. In 7 months he went from 75lbs to 85. Was feeding 2 cups twice daily of "Diamond All Natural Beef Meal & Rice" with piece of Roast Beef with a teaspoon of some kind of gravy & 1 Milkbone, 1 bully stick, 2 Grain fee treats daily. I cut back to 1 cup with Roast beef twice daily. I don't want to starve him but I want to keep his defined stomach. He won't eat unless the Roast beef & gravy is in his food. Bag of food says 4 cups daily. Any suggestions?
