Guinea Pigs are considered to be an ideal first pet! They are adorable and loving animals that are easy to maintain and handle. You can tell that they are especially excited when a guinea pig performs little hops in the air, also known as "popcorning". This is a common occurrence with most guinea pigs as they are generally very happy and excitable animals. There are a number of treats and toys available to use when bonding with your guinea pig. Like many other small animals, their teeth grow continually throughout their life so it is important to provide them with chew sticks to prevent the teeth from becoming over-grown. Guinea pigs are very affectionate and will snuggle up to their pet parents. They are one of the few small animals that may enjoy interacting with you as much as you do with them!

My Guiena pig is going bald
My Guinea pig is losing fur above his nose
What is wrong with my guinea pig
Why does my Guinea Pig have a missing patch of fur near her butt?
Not sure if the guinea pig is a male or female.
I recently rescued a guinea pig. She seems bloated, and is losing fur patches. Is an enlarged abdomen normal in this species? And why does she have bald spots?
I have a male guinea pig that has lost its fur around its bum what can i do to treat this?
Hi i have a guinea pig and he has a mild hair loss in the last 2 weeks and i was worried, i checked his body for lice and stuff but there wasn't anything in his body, is it a season thing ? Btw my baby is 5 years old
A month ago i got a skinny pig and a long haired guinea pig a few days after i got them i noticed the long haired guiena pig had a little crusty stuff around his eye as shown in the second photo, about a week ago my skinny pig started getting white spots around his rump, it's progressing rather quickly he now has a small white spot under his chin and another behind a ear. I spot clean the cage every two days and fully clean once a week. diet is hay, pellets, and vegetables every few days.
Do guinea pigs get any diseases
I just adopted two male guinea pigs are they are itching a lot and one of them is missing patcges of hair by his ears.
