Far too small for one guinea pig. This is fine for transporting your piggy but not to live in. Horribly sad. One piggy needs a minimum of 2ft x 4 ft and a proper unlimited hay area to eat because they eat all day, 1/2 cup of pallets, and 1 cup fresh veggies every day. Please do your research so the piggy does not suffer.

New bunny owner here. I bought this for a Holland Lop bunny and we love it! It’s the perfect size for him to run around and play. We put a small litter box in it and toys as well. Still plenty of room. It’s light weight as well. We keep this cage indoors so not sure how well it would do outdoors

This cage is very sturdy and well built, yet light and easy to carry and clean. I bought one 2 years ago for a Guinea Pig and a second one yesterday for a second Guineas Pig. The first cage is still like new after 2 years of use. It has an easy to open top lid for feeding and a front door is needed. The bottom is plastic and is easy on the pet's feet. The top cage structure easily unsnaps to allow cleaning top and bottom separately. This is also very reasonably priced.

I brought this product from Petco in Newnan for a rabbit. It was recommended but this is not a good cage for a rabbit. It is weak assembly and the door does not open. It is there for show. the top was oversize, meaning it does not fit securely over the cage. The pieces were uneven. It was broken on the end. We were excited to get the rabbit that the only thing I noticed about the cage was that the plastic was torn. The salesperson was getting everything together. Overall, not a good purchase. I'm currently shopping around for a sturdy and great product.

I purchased this and realized when I got home a whole corner was cracked and broken!!! I needed it asap soo I made it work but wasn't happy this isn't the first broken cage I got from here

I need a travel cage for 1 ferret that can go in my trunk or back seat. She’s sneaky and created a hole on her portable mesh cage. It’s not intended for a home, mostly for 3-5 hours drive several times a year. Will this work?

What size is your ferret? About the size of a guinea pig? Make sure the front sliding door is closed, maybe use a zip tie for security in the car. I have two guinea pigs in my cage. On occasion, they try to escape when giving them fresh veggies! Bars of cage are one inch apart. Open and airy, good air flow. Good Luck! Janet. Don't place in trunk!! Put in back seat.

Was planning on using this cage when I travel on some weekends for my chinchilla to take him with me. How easy is it to ensemble and disassemble for travel and storage?

Depends on how skilled you are! If you have room in your vehicle to keep it set up, I would do that. Lots of pieces. First time through, easy to mix up pieces. Company has a toll free number for assembly assistance. Or, you could be the type that assembles items quickly, and set up/take down could be easy for you! Well made, plenty of room, open design so animal is visible from all sides, allows for good ventilation. I own two of these cages. Good Luck! Janet Triska

It's made of a wire covered with plastic. The problem that I now have is that my rabbit has chewed off the plastic in a number of places.

Contact the company. It was as simple as finding their website and sending an online form. They were quick to respond. Ours pen missing a small piece and they sent it right away at no charge.
