The Green Tiger Barbs are a great semi-aggressive schooling fish to recommend to the beginner hobbyist. Keeping them happy is pretty simple and they will acclimate to an aquarium setting fairly easily. They prefer planted aquariums with rocks and drift where they can hide and swim through. The Tiger Barb will accept just about any food that is dropped into the tank from freshwater flakes to frozen meaty foods.

I have 2 salmenese tiger fish and two smaller fish in approximately 3.5 L bowl. I bought them on 1 April. 3 act normal but one act abnormal from first day. One salmenese tiger fish doesn't move much first it stayed at bottom now it's gapping at surface and if I try to catch to check it it goes down again. It's fins are turning red or I don't know if it already was. I don't understand how to help. Parents are out town so I can't go to shop. I am not sure if all are eating food.
Hello! my tropic tetra fish, lĂmon, has a cut out down the middle that I have not noticed before and her tail has a small cut too. she lives in a 10 gallon community tank with 3 more tropic tetras. none of her tank mates are aggressive. Does she have fin rot or some other disease? she gets regular water changes and has been acting completely normal. please send help!
Why does my Betta fish have lines on his gills?
How to increase colour deep red and yellow citation of red blood parrot fish and yellow parrot fish ? And how far shyness of red blood parrot fish ?
We just tranferred Joey from a 40 Gallon Tank to a new 90+ Gallon Terrain... He seemed to be pretty happy till today. We noticed right before we changed tanks that he had some dark coloration on his left side and tip of his tail.. He was shedding at the time so we figured it was part of it.. It has yet to go away, and today he seems VERY active, mostly attempting to climb the glass of the tank. I have attached a photo, Thank You in advance! ~Robert~
My pet pike cichlid is not eating and is always staying in one corner of the tank. It is in a 20 gallon with 2 convict cichlids, 2 firemouth cichlids, 1 Oscar, and two plecos. My ammonia is 0, nitrate 0 and ph is 6.5. Water is a little tinted because of the driftwood.
How to introduce betta fish to neon tettra, guppies
Last Monday, I got 3 bleeding heart tetras. All seemed well. When I checked on the fish last evening, I noticed 1 of the bleeding heart tetras was missing her tail. I know she does not have fin rot, as her other fins look healthy. It didn't look infected, so I decided to let it heal on its own. When I woke up, she was floating on her back, I flipped her around and she was fine. Now the other 2 are fin nipping her and ganging up on her. I moved her to a small glass bowl, what now?
I recently bought a pearl arrowana fish what care should I take
I have bought 2 parrot cichlids about 20 days ago. One of the parrot fish is constantly hiding behind the filter. Eating well but when it comes out to swim the other parrot fish keeps pinching it and doesn't allow to it to move around in the tank. I don't understand the problem. Please suggest what to do. Also the color of the fish is bit dull as compared to other one.
My betta is a baby boy (4monthold) When I first got him he was red with white. 2 months ago his growing fins began becoming blue. Abt 3 weeks ago I see that he began losing his color a bit& began becoming kind of transparent, so I took the water to get checked& the water was good but the store couldnt check for ammonia cause they had ran out of that test(water has conditioner). Last night I notice that he started getting a shiny silver color on 1side of mouth& in gill. But he is acting normal
Betta fish is spending all day at the bottom corner of his tank and barely eating. He moves quickly when he does swim and his appearance seems fine
