The Green Phantom Pleco L-200 is a beautiful pleco that can be seen stuck against the glass all day cleaning off the algae. They are a very efficient algae eater and will actively clean the glass, which means less cleaning for you. Like most plecos, the Green Phantom has a long-life span and can grow to be quite large so be sure they have enough space. Provide lots of hiding spaces to help reduce their stress especially while they are acclimating to their new environment. They appreciate a planted aquarium with drift wood, plenty of water movement and aeration. This pleco prefers a mature aquarium with pristine water conditions to thrive. Even though they love eating algae, itcannot be their only food source, so provide a varied diet of algae wafers and meaty, sinking pellets.

ACCLIMATION: Allow the sealed bag with your new fish to float in your aquarium for at least 15 minutes (but no longer than one hour) to ensure the water in the bag matches the temperature in your aquarium. For new aquariums, adding new fish slowly helps to properly develop the nitrogen cycle, which creates a safe environment for your aquatic pets. A bacteria booster may also help develop a new aquarium for your new fish. Petco offers free water testing in store to determine if your water is safe. DIET: A well-balanced diet consists of a variety of flakes, pellets, freeze-dried, and frozen food, depending on the species. FEEDING: Feed sparingly and no more than fish can eat in 1-2 minutes. Overfeeding can quickly foul the water, especially in smaller, unfiltered aquariums.

I’m getting a 20 gallln tank and I would like to know what are the best tropical freshwater fish that I could get? I would like to get a pleco, but he would get to big for my tank, so I’m wondering if I could donate him to my locomotive petco in The Dalles Oregon? Thank you I love PetCoach!!!

Can platties, Black mollies, pleco, and neon tetra all be kept together in a 20 gallon tank?
Best foods for 29gallon tank with 4Rosaline Sharks, 4Congo Tetras, 1large bushy nosed plecostamus. Vitamins?
Hi, I had a bettas fish and a clown pleco. A day after doing a complete cleaning of the tank, my better fish died and my pleco started acting weird. I tested the water. Ph 7, ammonia 0, nitrate 0, nitrite 0. He is not eating, his skin started to look like white, like shedding? And now is like coming off. Also, his belly is bloated. I attached pictures.
Hello, good afternoon! I was curious on how to know when a pleco is asleep? I have a baby albino pleco, and he has been in the same spot about all day. I believe he is okay, he is not laying on the bottom, his mouth is stuck to the bottom of a decoration. I just thought I would ask to make sure he is alright! Thank you so much, I really appreciate it!
Hi, I bought 6 platy fish and a black corydora catfish about 2 weeks ago, all seem in good health bright colours and swimming round as normal they are in a 48l tank which the pet store said was a big enough tank for them all, but one of them seems to be loosing his scales or I’m afraid he may have itch but it dosent look like it I hope you can help, thanks.
My pleco fish is bullying my fancy goldfish that are in the same tank. What should i do?
Hey so I have have 10 goldfish that are all about 10-20cm long (tail included) in a 6ft tank and Larry which is one of my Fish has a white patch on the side of him could you please tell me what this is and how to tear it please help Me I love him so much.☺️☺️☺️Ps hope you can see the white dot in the photo thank you
I dont know if you are a tropical fish specialist. But there is something going on in my tank and need help diagnosing it. My corydora has two raised growths ..one at the base of its fin. And one under the eye. My pleco seems a bit tattered too. A little flashing was happening with my yoyo loach also. That's now stopped after a water change.
We just tranferred Joey from a 40 Gallon Tank to a new 90+ Gallon Terrain... He seemed to be pretty happy till today. We noticed right before we changed tanks that he had some dark coloration on his left side and tip of his tail.. He was shedding at the time so we figured it was part of it.. It has yet to go away, and today he seems VERY active, mostly attempting to climb the glass of the tank. I have attached a photo, Thank You in advance! ~Robert~
