To maximize UV bulb life, we recommend to use GKM when the tank is with green water problem, switch off when water becomes clean or turn it on 8 hours per day. Assembly Directions: (1). Unplug the power adaptor & connectors before maintenance. (2). Remove UV Lamp Assembly and filter pump from your aquarium. (3) Disconnect plastic elbow and filer pump from Lamp Assembly. (4). Install new UV Lamp Assembly reversing above sequence.

Do not expose eyes or skin to unshielded UV lamps. UV lamps emit UV radiation which may case eye or skin injury.

Received and does not work. Opened up the box and plugged it in and not seeing any light on the main unit. Will be calling for a return otherwise I'll be done with this brand...

I ordered this bulb replacement and when it arrived it did not work. The original purchase of the complete machine was great. The machine works well with a functioning bulb. I didnt return it because it wasn't worth the time and energy. Will not buy again.
