Is this safe for my dog to chew? Is it too hard where it would break their tooth possibly?
- It’s very hard however I don’t think a dog would break your tooth on it. But of course it’s always possible. However my daughters dog did not like this at all so he didn’t chew it

He does best with benebones, antlers, selects kings if they are solid . He slowly eats them, spits out kong pieces . We are used to hearing him contently chewing . We praise him. . Watering eyes. Itching, hair has come out. Top of tail and down some. Thought mites. Put olive oil -had relief. Dogfood is Tasty Nuggets. Was having rawhide- and purina beggins. Pet Pantry said flea allergin maybe. Owner car wreck gone 7th month- gave. Stopped rawhide & was going to get new dogfood. Have insurance - but not outright . Used borax and peroxide rinse - said for relief mites or itch & gave relief- said once week.

I have a Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix. He is 2 years old and my husband and I have had him for a little over a year. He is on a grain-free dog food and treats due to allergies and we have to clean his ears about once per week or else he will be shaking his head because his ears are bothering him. Lately he has been chewing on certain areas. We have washed him with an anti itch shampoo that has helped some. Any more suggestions on what we could try???
