Significant change in these maple rolls

This maple smoked pork skin roll has evolved into something completely different than it was for years. There is now a wrapper on it, which would be fine except one could not feel the texture of the actual roll itself. Once the wrapper is opened, it was clear that the very flavorful but sticky outer layer, with a wonderful maple scent, is no longer on the roll. Why was this change made?

They changed the product; now they are wrapped in plastic and are completely different. My dog used to love the old ones but this one; she wouldn’t touch so I returned. Unfortunate as she is very picky and this is one of the only treats she loved.

Almost killed my dog

If I could leave this no star I would. My dog choked on this and stopped breathing, my partner and I had to go in the back of her throat to pull it out. We had to rush her to the ER where we found out it was still lodged in her throat. It’s been 2 months later and we are still dealing with the aftermath from this treat. High vet bills and my dog has not recovered from this. If you love your dog, stay away from this. Buying this and still seeing my dog suffer haunts me everyday.

I bought the Good Lovin' Maple Smoked Pork Skin Roll Dog Chews for my 1yr old cockapoo. He wouldn't touch it for about a week. I decide to break the stick in half for him. Once he was able to taste the juice he was hooked. He ate the entire stick within 15 min.

My dog just adores these chewy treats. He buries some and eats some and then goes and gets them from his secret stash (usually deep in his bed or my furniture) and chews on them. It is his treat after every meal and will cry till he gets it. I like them because they are good for his teeth and not anything harmful in them.
