DO NOT GIVE TO YOUR DOG!!! If I could give this a zero I would. Gave this to my 55 lb Shepard husky mix who’s never had a problem and now she’s is very ill. Less than 24 hours later she is vomiting all over the place and shaking as well as very lethargic.

Do not buy. My dog ate this bone in a matter of minutes on Christmas Day. It said it was for aggressive chewers. I initially thought he passed it, but he is puking and having diarrhea 4 days later on his way to the vet. This should be banned. It was labeled for aggressive chewers, but was ingested within a few minutes. There were sharp splinters on the floor. Shame on Petco for selling this product. I feel terrible and so worried.

Bowel Obstruction

I bought this product on Nov 20, 2024 and gave one to my medium/large dogs. One dog is currently n the Emergency Pet Hospital due to bowel syndrome instruction, Xray verified. Due to a sharp edged chunk of this has lodged in the lower colan. They are trying pain meds, enemas, walking in hopes it will pass. So far $1600 has been paid but if this doesn’t work, I don’t know what the next step is. I told the vet that I feel so bad about this and he said, “it’s not your fault, it’s the company’s fault” Dawn R

DO NOT BUY THESE! I bought these for my three big dogs and they had them in pieces within 5 minutes. DANGEROUS PIECES!! ALL THREE DOGS PUKED ALL NIGHT!! This is a horrible product and should be removed from shelves. I've had dogs for more than 40 years and I have never seen such a horrid result. Now I'm worried about having to pay for XRAYS for three large dogs. Absolutely ridiculous!!!

DO NOT BUY FOR YOUR DOG . NOT SAFE I gave this to my dog and it broke apart within 2 minutes. She accidentally ingested a piece of the bone and it made her very sick. It cost me a few thousand dollars to take her to the emergency room to help her pass it. This should be taken off the shelves.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!! I bought this product for my lab and doddle dogs. It fell apart very easily into sharp pieces which they ingested before I knew it. One of my dogs vomited it up, along with blood clots. I was heartbroken I gave it to them. I regret buying this for them and wish I could give it NO STARS. If you love your babies, do not buy it!!!!!

If I could give this 0 stars I would. DO NOT BUY FOR YOUR DOG! I bought one for my two dogs. I noticed it crumbled easily, but didn’t think much of it until the next day (today) when one of my dogs had diarrhea and the other was vomiting, had bloody stools, and was barking/whining in pain when he went poop! Never has a bone done this to them. beyond upset!!

My 1.5 year lab ate this in a matter of minutes and was not pooping and was throwing up. Now at the vet and after X-rays we’re proceeding with surgery because they think it will not pass through his piloris. I feel so guilty for putting him in the situation. Never again

    Are theses good login ham bones safe for dogs to eat?

      I say no - both my dogs had these bones in pieces within minutes. Many of the pieces were sharp and they were trying to eat them. Very dangerous for medium to heavy chewers.
