I don't recommend

Beckv

My dog Got really sick because she ended up eating too big of a piece and it was stuck in her bowels for weeks. It was terrible she got really lethargic, had terrible stool and accidents in the house because of it. We went to the vet and they didn't know what was wrong. After she finally passed it which it was a large solid piece of the salt chew and it almost a week for her to finally get back to normal.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Out of my 2 larger Dogs, only 1 liked it .I do not like the way it splinters into such small pieces that it could cause a puncture or obstruction in their intestines.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Dangerous! Seriously, do not buy...

Very brittle chews that splinter into sharp, dangerous and easily swallowable pieces. Had to take it away from my 65lb German Shepherd in under 5 minutes. Thankful I didn't let her run off with it. It's totally irresponsible these are on the market. Don't let your dog have this product.

Are these microwaveable like the native yak chews ?

  1. Yes, they puff up as well. Be sure to soak them in warm water for a bit before microwaving. Not sure what happens if you don't, but the directions say to do it. So, I do it. Keep in mind, this is only after my dog has worked it down. Not sure if you mean to microwave the whole thing. I have no experience with that.

Do these contain any flavoring like beef, chicken, peanut butter, etc.  I didn’t see any listed under ingredients but I’ve learned to not take that as written in stone. Our puppy is allergic to chicken.  Thank you.

  1. No chicken or chicken parts. Just Yak/Cow Milk, Lime Juice, and Salt.
