The Golden Zebra Loach scavengers the bottom of the aquarium looking for leftover food. The Golden Zebra Loach is considered a "scale-less fish," which means they can be more susceptible to diseases like Ich. Slower acclimation and pristine water conditions will help reduce the chance of diseases. They have an elongated body and barbels that they use to scavenge. Provide an environment with lots of caves and hiding places for this loach to sleep in. Adding this loach to an aquarium with sandy substrate or fine gravel with plants will help mimic their natural environment. Be aware they may uproot plants when they are on the hunt for food. For continued health, feed this loach a mix of frozen Bloodworms and high-quality sinking pellets.

My golden dojo loach (fish) accidentally swallowed one of my smaller fish, he is choking and I don’t know what to do there is no fish vet near me please help what do I do
I have 3 Fancy Goldfish; Spot, Zedar and Monty. Monty has 2 white lumps on his head was swimming before but is lying inside the ship all the time. Spot is all white with black and orange spots it was spastic swimming but still eating. Then got swim bladder but still eating. Then started staying in the ship, now just lying on the tank floor. Spot was showing signs before Monty. Zedar seems to be fine but occasionally taking large gulps at the top of the tank and while in the water. What is this?
Recently one of my Dojo Loaches have developed a weird issue with its eyes. I have 3 others who are doing completely fine. My water parameters are based around what they need and the temp too. I did a water change as well to see if that would help but havent seen any progress and I believe it is getting worse. I'm going to quarantine it for now. What could be this be? I'm struggleing to find a specific answer for this. I attached pictures of the sick loach and one of my healthy ones.
I am not able to ID my fish. It seems to belong to the family of snakehead bettas. But it is yellow in colour. They belly is a shimmering yellow gradually getting duller towards the tail. the tail and fins are yellow with red borders. Its eyes are blue. It seems to be enjoying staying at the top most of the time. Its not aggressive. Please help me ID my fish
What can be kept with goldfish?
Hi there, I'm not sure if this website applies to fish, but I don't have anyone in my area that can help. I have a gold nugget pleco and he eats veggies and driftwood all the time, has a large 55 gallon tank to himself and he has normal catfish habits-sleep during day, up at night. Anyways he was a beautiful black and gold but now his colour is fading... I looked it up and it means death (but he's eating and still very alive...). Is there anything you know about why else the colour could go?
I have a freshwater fish in my aquarium that I cannot identify. It resembles a Mosquito fish but is lighter in color, thinner, swims differently, and has what appear to be sparkles on its sides. I caught it with a net in a school of mosquito fish but it is different. it was the only one in the school that looks the way it does. I found it in the shallow part of a lake in Florida. Please help me identify it.
I've recently just purchased a fancy black gold fish and this white looking fish. The white fish looks as if it is pecking at the black gold fish and now it looks like my black gold fish is white. Exactly we're the white fish is sucking at. What's going on
