This freshwater plant is challenging to keep due to light requirements. A minimum of 2 watts per gallon is needed, but more is welcome especially in deeper tanks. When placed in a poorly lit aquarium, this plant will grow upwards instead of across the substrate. Its leaves will also yellow and fall off prematurely. This plant also requires supplemental iron and trace elements to grow properly.

There is an odd growth under his or her left eye. None of the other 7 fish have it. We treat the water with ick gaurd and it is the size of a puple it has been there for just about 2 weeks now. What is it
The attached image appears to be a growth on the belly of our 9 yr old stumpy-tailed Blue Heeled desexed cattle dog. Could you please help us identify this growth which is about 1 inch long? Our dog is healthy and active. Thank you for your kind assistance.
My new betta is coming up with silvery spots behind gill slits and underneath mouth. His water also seems to get clear algae growth rather quickly (3days) on the surface. I would love to be able to send pictures. My first betta
My two platys and a one guppys fin is getting clear and losing color
I keep axolotl and am having a continuous fungus problem, my water tests are great. I can provide the parameters if I actually speak with someone. It’s been a period of a few months and the fungus keeps coming back. This is just one of them 3 out of 4 have gotten it.
I dont know if you are a tropical fish specialist. But there is something going on in my tank and need help diagnosing it. My corydora has two raised growths ..one at the base of its fin. And one under the eye. My pleco seems a bit tattered too. A little flashing was happening with my yoyo loach also. That's now stopped after a water change.
My platy fish have been having white/clear poops. I did 4 treatments of API General Cure (about 3 weeks long) and there is no difference. Now one of my platy fish looks thin and his fins seem off. I'm just not sure where to go from here. I've taken them off of the treatment now as advised by a friend. First attached photo is of questionable fish. Second is of the poop (and a picture of a different healthy platy).
