Description
The giant day gecko is a diurnal arboreal species of day gecko (Phelsuma sp.). These geckos are part of the Phelsuma group, which consists of in excess of 70 species and subspecies.
- - Day geckos stand out in their habitat due to their bright coloring but escape predators with their keen eyesight and quick escapes. These geckos do not have eyelids; instead they have what is called a "spectacle". In order to keep their eyes clean, they lick them

Is my Gecko healthy?
What morph is my leopard gecko?
Hi there. So I am looking into getting a heat dome for my crested gecko. I know they don’t have to have a heat lam but I want him to have a UVB bulb Because it’s good for them. But I am not quite sure that type to get. Any suggestions? I was looking at petco’s tropical combo pack. He lives in a 10 g. With live plant. (I will upgrade when he is bigger) also do you know an age on him? I got him 3 months ago from petsmart. I could tell he was a male a week after I got him. (Pic from yesterday)

Hi I have just rescued 2 leapord geckos. One weighs 9.4 grams other 13.gms , can they continue to live together for now & how old are they. I think the 13 gram one is a male

My leopard gekco sleeps all day and all night but he will move around sometimes at night but most of the time he is sleeping, is that a good thing or is it something I have to worry about because I need to know if everything is okay with my gekco.
Hi! I just got a crested gecko. She’s 9 grams and seems a little skinny for her length. She just shed and has been eating fine. However she has a little bit of brown at the very back of her mouth and I’m worried it might be mouth rot. I’ve had snakes and tarantulas and chameleons. Never a gecko. So I don’t know if this is worth driving and hour to a vet and paying hundreds to find out.

Will petco accept my 2 year old Tokay Gecko? Its had a fairly rough life with it losing and regrowing its tail and has been mishandled somewhat often by its previous owner. Ive had him for several months now and i check on him daily but he still doesn't seem to trust me. Unlike his previous owners I used gentle movements and never try to manhandle him. Its gotten to the point where ive lost interest in trying to befriend the little guy and want to give him a new home.
Hello! How can I tell if my crested gecko is egg bownd? Lyra has been eating TONS of insects, so it could just be she is getting thicker, but I am not positive. Also, how big does my crested gecko have to be to be able to carry eggs? (I have not been breeding her, but I have heard they can have eggs anyway) also, is there any chance that baby created could come from the eggs? If so, how do I incubate them, and at what tempature, humidity, etc.
My (male?) leopard gecko has what appears to be a bubble near its front right arm. I poked it with my finger to see if it was solid and it move, I poked it again and it moved back to over the arm again (on the shoulder). I think it is ether an air or fluid bubble under the skin, I do not know why it was there or how long it has been there, my gecko does not appear to have any other signs of illness.
