Emma's had GI issues; tried raising her food bowl and this seemed to make a difference. Bowl was raised from the floor to ~12" off the floor. Emma is ~18" tall. Does the height of a dogs food bowl matter?

My dog does not want to eat from his metal bowl anymore, we bought him a plastic one and for a while he ate but now he stop again. We got him a porcelain and still not eating. And my husband has feed him his soft food with a fork but he would not eat his hard food.

One year old GSP recently stopped chewing his food and instead swallowing it whole, which leads to him regurgitating it everywhere moments after the food is gone. No throw up. This morning, I fed him on a shoe bench a couple feet high a big scoop, reminding him to chew. He chewed better, no throw up
How much should I be feeding? I feed nutrena large breed puppy chow and they recommend 2-3 cups for 15-25lb dogs. He weighs less than 15 I think, but still seems extremely hungry after each meal
