My Italian Greyhound mix may have taken a 50mg pill of Tramadol. He weighs about 22lbs. The pill was meant for my large dog who was recently injured.
I have noticed over the last few months a change in chester's coat color and texture. It has not gotten any better, in fact, it is taking over more areas of him. He once had a shiny black and white coat (except very soft/fine lower leg hair that doesn't shine) and now it has expanded to his upper legs and his lower part of body. Hes not acting any different. Eats/drinks/exercises all well. He is on hills prescription z/d food. This soft hair doesn't come shed easy. Pictures attached
My dog at 10 months, who is 40 lbs, is possibly pregnant by a 90 lb great Pyrenees, can it be a problem since the male is so much larger?
There is a rounded lump under my dog's right eye, a little less than the size of his cheek. It seems to have appeared overnight and is stiff but soft on top. He doesnt seem to have been bitten or stung. He becomes upset when i try to take a look at it, won't let me lift his fur up to see the skin underneath. He is 14 years old and a medium-sized Shepherd/Terrier mix, not experiencing any fatigue or noticeable health concerns other than the lump. Apologies for the terrible pictures!
Is it ok to give my 35lb dachshund-pitbull mix the petite greenies? Says intended for 5-15lb dogs. I got them as a gift when he was a puppy but obviously couldn’t give it to him then and he has not outgrown them!
What is this? How do I treat it? The dog’s skin is bright pink. Where all the gray spots are feel hard with matted fur and underneath this is irritated skin. It is only on the interior of one leg and in the under arm of that leg.
i have 3 year german shepherd dog . he lose weight day by day . he does 2 3 time stool in a day and also not good digestion . My dog is a maltese/poodle and about 6 yrs. old. He was a rescue from PetCo. We are not active people being in our 70's and have med. conditions but he sometimes gets a run but usually a mild walk. He has been chewing at his front legs to where they are discolored. At his last grooming his eyes became irritated from the eyebrows being shaved too close and he kept rubbing them so I washed them with a boric acid solution made for humans. They seem better but still have the hard gunk on the edges.
