I just bought this and my kitty already loves it (and he tends to hate kennels)! HOWEVER, the specs on the website are wrong. I needed a 13x13 for a flight, and this thing is 20" long! Better for my cat, and luckily the hard bottom easily comes out. Giving 4 stars only for an incredibly obvious oversight in specs from Petco. Other than that, it works as intended!

First, this seems to be a very well made quality carrier. My disliking is the size. I ordered a large and its half the size of my old medium pet carrier. If you actually want this to carry a small dog around with you on your daily errands or what not then I think it would work great but as an actual pet carrier for vet visits and travel I would suggest looking elsewhere. Animals should be able to stand up and turn around in their carrier and my cats would just fit in this one with little extra room.

From the picture, it looks like the opening is quite small. Does it unzip entirely on one side? I'm having trouble envisioning how I'm going to get my cat inside of it.

Answered this ? from an email to me from petco but not seeing the answer here. The end of the carrier with the mesh window zips only half way down. The other end zips all the way to the bottom and lays flat. This is the entry way for your cat. There is no window on that end but does have window mesh on both sides as well as the one end.

lolol. If your husky can fit in it, they would not get out. Unless it's a newborn puppy, good luck fitting it in a tiny cat sized carrier.

For a 20lb dog this would be "just okay". I don't believe it's ideal to carry around a 20lb dog in this bag. However, for a flight or car ride it may be okay, just no long-term.

it seems like the sizes written on the specifications page are wrong. 1013.513.5 seems to small for the large one. can anyone verify the exact specifications?
