The Gecko Loach is a bottom dwelling fish, native to fast moving, shallow, clear water streams. The Loach's body shape allows it to point itself toward flow and yet stay attached to rocks in fast current while grazing on the surface films that grow there. Gecko Loaches need very well-oxygenated water. Outside of the flow requirements, tanks needn't be too large; a 20-gallon aquarium would be sufficient to house a small group of three to five, which is how we recommend keeping them. Driftwood can be utilized, but it should be old, so it doesn't stain the water. Feeding the Gecko Loach is pretty straightforward. Their primary food source in the wild is benthic algae as well as the little critters consumed with it. One of your primary goals as a fish keeper in regard to feeding these Loaches is to maintain an environment that grows this alga readily. The Gecko Loach is a peaceful fish and can be kept with other community minded fishes.

ACCLIMATION: Avoid exposing new aquatic life to bright lights after opening the box. Turn off aquarium lights prior to floating aquatic life. Allow the sealed bag with your new fish to float in your aquarium for at least 15 minutes (but no longer than one hour) to ensure the water in the bag matches the temperature in your aquarium. A bacteria booster addition can assist with the addition of new aquatic life. Petco offers free water testing in store to determine if your water is safe for the addition of new aquatic life. DIET: A well-balanced diet consists of a variety of flakes, pellets, freeze-dried and frozen foods, depending on the species. FEEDING: Feed sparingly and no more than fish can eat in 1-2 minutes. Overfeeding can quickly foul the water, especially in smaller aquariums.

Is my Gecko healthy?
What morph is my leopard gecko?
Recently one of my Dojo Loaches have developed a weird issue with its eyes. I have 3 others who are doing completely fine. My water parameters are based around what they need and the temp too. I did a water change as well to see if that would help but havent seen any progress and I believe it is getting worse. I'm going to quarantine it for now. What could be this be? I'm struggleing to find a specific answer for this. I attached pictures of the sick loach and one of my healthy ones.
patternless leopard gecko body compulsion waves contracting and growling
Will petco accept my 2 year old Tokay Gecko? Its had a fairly rough life with it losing and regrowing its tail and has been mishandled somewhat often by its previous owner. Ive had him for several months now and i check on him daily but he still doesn't seem to trust me. Unlike his previous owners I used gentle movements and never try to manhandle him. Its gotten to the point where ive lost interest in trying to befriend the little guy and want to give him a new home.
Hi I have just rescued 2 leapord geckos. One weighs 9.4 grams other 13.gms , can they continue to live together for now & how old are they. I think the 13 gram one is a male
Is my gecko underweight?
We just tranferred Joey from a 40 Gallon Tank to a new 90+ Gallon Terrain... He seemed to be pretty happy till today. We noticed right before we changed tanks that he had some dark coloration on his left side and tip of his tail.. He was shedding at the time so we figured it was part of it.. It has yet to go away, and today he seems VERY active, mostly attempting to climb the glass of the tank. I have attached a photo, Thank You in advance! ~Robert~
I just bought a created gecko and i put him in his enclosure and he ran really fast and then stopped and went under the eco earth and i dug him out and then he went and is laying on the soil now, i misted the tank and i am just nervous that something is wrong since he burrowed right away i know they're nocturnal i just am really nervous
I have a leopard gecko and he has a very large mass I guess we're his testicles are
I have an African Fat Tail Gecko that is 14 years old. I don't know his sex, but he's adorable. He is eating, shedding and appearing normal, Except he is all of a sudden extremely thin. Almost skeletal in his head area and his body is smaller, although his tail is still proportionate to his now smaller torso. How can I help him
My Gecko's tail is very thin and she is pail,is there anything I can do to heal her? Or is this the end for her? ( She is about 3 years)
