This is rated for 25lbs, but a 24lb bag doesn't fit (~2-3lbs left in the bag). False capacity listed, it states "25lb+ dog food capacity". I can only recommend this if you purchase bags that are less than 20lbs.

Misleading weight capacity

I bought this today and a 30 pound bag of Royal Canin Puppy German Shepherd Dog food, it filled it up completely with no room to spare. The extra five pounds of space would be nice for the left over food. I also noticed I did not receive the scoop.

Perfectly fine product, but false advertising on the website as far as price is concerned that is a fault of Petco not the product maker.

AWESOME poop container!

I bought this after house sitting for a friend who has had his for years. The small rake and shovel perfectly deposit the poop without spilling over the sides. I chose the 15# because it had better reviews for the lid than the 25#. The scented flex kitchen trash bag hangs over the sides and the lid screws on it. It's not in direct sunlight. My yard smells great - I collect the poop then unscrew the lid to dump it in. It's a gamechanger! I attached an Odoban rechargable satchel with velcro to the lid to absord the odor but putting the used kitty litter in with the dog poop may work as well with absorbing odors.

Not happy bought a Vittle Vault to store my dog food in. I keep it on the back porch and rats chewed a hole the size of a vase ball in it overnight!!!!! Also my white ring around the lid fell off snd I couldn’t get it back on.

I've only had it one month and the white seal thing has fallen out. Where is it supposed to go? I haven't been able to find detailed specifications on the correct position.
- The white rubber seal goes just below the widest part of the lid's outer rim. There is a narrow indented area. I wish I could put a photo on here. :)

what are the dimensions of the 15# option? it is not listed under specifications.
- Just measured and they are about 12 inches across and 10 inches up and down. Maybe 12 and a half wide as my kitten kept biting my hand...ha ..They fit a 16 lb bag of food easily and like it comes with a good cup size scooper. I just dig the scooper in the food so it all fits. I took a pic but unable to post on here to show how 2 fit perfectly stacked on top of each other underneath my half bath sink. (Keep there because their feeding bowls are close by!)

I would like to use a medium container for travel. I measure the food out by cups, so need to know how many cups of kibble can a medium container hold?
- The medium vault says it can hold 25lbs+ of food. If you are in fact using a 25lb bag then there are about 100 cups in that bag. If you are using a different size bag then ask Google, how many cups are in a ....lb bag of dog food? That should be helpful.

- Probably yes, but they crack so easy, I try not to stack them

what are the dimensions of the various sizes. it should be available on every page. mostly interested in the medium size dimensions.

Will this keep out pantry moths? My last airtight containter didn't.
- Pantry moths are commonly found in flour, grains and rice. If you are using it to store rice, then you need to freeze the rice first. Then take it out of the freezer and come all the way to room temperature BEFORE putting it in the Vittles Vault. By letting the rice come to room temperature, it allows the rice to release any moisture, which you don't want in your VV container. I learned this from the Gamma2 website re other uses for their containers.
