I’ve probably have had this thing for 2 months Noticed the other day that it wasn’t dispensing. I’ve tried everything I could think of to fix it and it still won’t work. Don’t waist your money.

I bought my feeder in the fall of 2023 and I've been using it without a problem until about a week ago when it stopped dispensing. I checked it out thoroughly without discovering the problem. It would dispense food if I use the manual button. However using the program time and meals you would not function. My batteries were weak so I replaced them and found do unit would attempt to operate it schedule times but observing it I could see it was not opening just barely trying to open. Repeatedly observing from underneath I was able to see there was something amiss with the yellow screw device that dispensed the food. I managed to insert my fingers into the device and found that part of the screw blade had separated. Why it dispensed food normally on "manual" setting but not on "timed" schedule I don't understand. My advice is the company needs to redesign that screw and replace with some more durablel material, that will not separate from the screw shaft. If they do that I believe it will be a terrific machine and already like that it does not have to be set to Wi-Fi to operate. When the problem is corrected I will both recommend this product and buy another.

Waste of money after 2 months

I bought this in Dec 2024 for my cat as I travel for work and am gone 2-3 nights every other week and my husband has odd work hours. It was also a nice way to disconnect myself from food with my little guy. It seemed to work ok the first week or so until we started noticing that it wasn’t always dispensing the right amount of food. At random it would dispense maybe a quarter of the amount we preset. Once the food was just jammed and it released after I unclogged it with my fingers. The second time no food came out but the machine made the dispensing sound, no food was stuck so we hit the test button this time and the correct amount was released. The 3rd time was last night 2/10/25, I decided to take the machine apart to clean it and see if there was anything clogging the food. Throughout removing the food from the feeder I noticed multiple pieces of small pieces bits mixed in and by this time I’m having a panic attack thinking the cat food was contaminated and my cat has been eating plastic but my husband noticed the plastic pieces that hold the canister weren’t there and the plastic in the food fit perfectly. This machine is not 3 months old and we’ve never taken it apart before for these pieces to have been broke and mixed in with the food. And I paid full price for this trash

If I could give 0 starts I would. I bought this product 1-1.5 years ago. It worked fine and occasionally had issues… out of nowhere the mechanism stopped functioning. The low battery light constantly comes on and it either dispenses 2 crumbs of food or it completely empties the whole food reservoir. I have made sure the amount is set correctly and am still having this issue, as well as cleaned out the feeder. I also tried a new cord but that did not help, neither did changing the batteries to a better brand. I reached out to customer support and because it is out of warranty nothing can be done… it was $100 and I just expected it to last longer than 1-1.5 years. After they said they could not help me I took the machine apart and found a lot of crumbs inside the motor and gently cleaned it out. I thought that might have helped but it is still having the same issue. Upon taking it apart it has some of the cheapest parts I have ever seen… it was not made well and I can understand why it has so many issues… do yourself a favor and DO NOT waste your money! They have way cheaper brands elsewhere that will probably last just as long.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Bought back in July 2024. Noticed this evening that it was no longer dispensing food. The auger would still kick on, but the door wasn’t letting any food out. opened up, cleaned it out. Can’t find anything wrong with it. Door will not let food out.

Main part failure

This automatic feeder worked great until the rubber cover for the impeller tore off and fails to move food to the dispenser for my pet to feed from, after looking closely, it looks like some really cheap material was used for the impeller cover and without the shape of teh rubber cover in tact food does not move to the dispensor.

Will this feeder use normal sized dog food? I’ve purchased 2 auto feeders in the past that said for large breed dog, and the jammed relentlessly. I buy my girl old Roy dog food. (It’s all she will eat.)

    Can it be used outdoors?

    1. We have not tried it outdoors, but even under cover our primary problem has been racoons getting to it and knocking it over, so we've had to tape the lid down to keep it from coming open and spilling out the contents.

Love this product! My question is if I were to turn the feeder off will it retain the settings or will I need to reprogram all over it all over again?

What happens if my dog does not finish a one serving? Would the dispenser still add the next meal in the bowl?

      1. yes

How well does it work for a 20 lb dog?
