Lay down a Galapagos CrashPad in any tropical or forest terrarium! CrashPad is made from 100% real moss and a flexible mesh backing, which is easy to cut and work around rooted plants. Use it above bedding as a naturally absorbent moss, below for easy cleanup, or instead of bedding as a soft & cozy liner. The Galapagos CrashPad is ideal for new and experienced owners alink because it is simple to use, easy to clean, and naturally suited for all tropical pets! Replace liner once or twice a month depending on your pets' habits and terrarium size. Terrariums with live plants and ample room require less frequent changing. Make it last! Hi there. So I am looking into getting a heat dome for my crested gecko. I know they don’t have to have a heat lam but I want him to have a UVB bulb Because it’s good for them. But I am not quite sure that type to get. Any suggestions? I was looking at petco’s tropical combo pack. He lives in a 10 g. With live plant. (I will upgrade when he is bigger) also do you know an age on him? I got him 3 months ago from petsmart. I could tell he was a male a week after I got him. (Pic from yesterday)
I just bought some loose coconut fiber bedding. They used to just have dirt. After the change he began to try to escape to the female toad's habitat and hasnt calmed down. He is also getting the fiber grounds in his water bowl. Is there anything I can do to calm him down and also keep his bowl clean? Our female adapted just fine and doesnt get any in her bowl. I think its because he keeps jumping around and making a mess.
Hello. So right now for my baby crested gecko tank set up I have a 10 gallon with live plants and some wood. (First time reptile owner) I have had this problem before. There are these VERY small little silver bugs and they are in the dirt and also on the wood. I didn’t make this bio active. I don’t think they are on the plants but there is a lot. I am using the dirt bricks and last time this happened I cleaned out his tank but they are back. They are not on my crestie. Are these ok? Suggestions?
Why are there a bunch of gnats in my crested geckos live terrarium? Maybe 5-7 in one terrarium. I have two live terrariums. They aren’t on my gecko just one the dirt, plants, wood, etc.
SO i am thinking about getting a leopard gecko, but i am not spending a ridiculous amount of money on a cage so i am using a plastic laundrey hamper that seems about maybe 10 gallons and i am setting up little hiddy spots and stuff but i dont know wha tbeedding i should use and how much light they need please hep :)
Is this a good setup for Nighthawk, the first photo is the over all setup, the second one is the side view and the third is the water and calcium dishes. I use an under tank heater that stays at about 88 degrees Fahrenheit and the vines are fake. He has a warm hide and a cold hide with moss in it that’s i spray down every other day. The little box is another little hide that I can see him in. And the background is tile it paper rolls that were painted(they were left to dry for two weeks)
I bought a wounded baby gecko, I mean wounded because it's tail is gone. I'm not sure how old or what gender it is yet because of it missing its tail. My questions are I put a piece of clean dried drift wood & some dried out lemons & oranges in its aquarium is that ok or harmful? I also added moisture to its substrate & shallow dish of calcium powder & crickets sprinkled with it. Its tail don't seem to growing. Its only 3+half inches long, any suggestions would be great. Please & thank you

what size cage does an adult bearded dragon need? what substrate should I use? is bioactivity possible with bearded dragons?
Currently I am using calcium sand. It doesn’t seem to be effecting Ash at all. Should I continue to use the sand or get something else such as eco earth?
I just purchased a created gecko that’s a little over a month old. I found his tail last night, and there’s a small crevice of his tank he won’t leave. I put down paper towels instead of the coconut substrate. I’ve read it’s best to keep them in a smaller tank while the wound heals, but it’s already stressed and not eating. Should I move it to a smaller habitat, or do you think the stress will be too much?
I have guinea pig and I was wondering what kind of bedding is ok for them. The enclosure is large so I’m not sure if I wanna use that much paper bedding
