DO NOT USE GABAPENTIN!
Ok ladies DO NOT GIVE YOUR PETS GABAPENTIN! I have a friend who's dog was prescribed gabapentin due to favoring his back leg. After being prescribed the drug the dog (Pomeranian) got WAY worse; after which, he was told his dog had a disease and was put down within an month. Now with is new dog (red heeler) he was prescribed the same drug for the same reason (favoring his back legs) and like last time the new dog lost function in his rear half. After 2 days of being taken OFF gabapentin he was back running and jumping. So my friend feels like he killed his last dog because he did not realize the drug is why he lost complete function and realizing his dog was never in pain, as he was told, only whimpers of frustration broke him. Please spread the word it must be a horrible thing to think you killed your pup...even if unknowingly.
No, I do not recommend this product.

You don’t even explain why anyone would consider this
My dog is supposed to get 2-3 doses/day of 300 mg Gabapentin. That dosage comes only in capsule form, which doesn't work well. Can these be cut in half and administered as a chewable? Are they slightly flavored?
- We got a 2 week trial of this medicine for one of my dogs. I have to shove it down her throat as they must not taste very good. Her carprofen she gobbles on her own with delight, so they must taste good.
