Questions
I had a black handled furminator with a yellow head that was about 2 1/2" wide. It has lost teeth & might hurt my 85 lb. yellow lab. I have a green furminator that works well, but it doesn't hold the hair in, it just flies all over the place. suggestion

I have a German Shepherd mix, she’s almost exactly 50 pounds and parts of her coat are longer than 2 inches, other parts shorter. Do I need the medium or large, and the long hair or short hair brush?
- I have a German shepherd. I just got a long haired cat one. Odd but it was $10 at tjmaxx. I think they’d all work. It worked great. Especially on the fuzzy fur

Would this product be good for my French bulldog
- We use it on our lab/pit and our domination/boxer. It works great. Don’t push down too hard because they don’t have a lot of fur. You don’t want to hurt their skin with it. Others works great! We get out a lot of hair.

would a medium be big enough for my shiba inu?
- Medium would be perfect for a Shiba. I use a medium size on my 80 lb lab mix and my friend's Shiba sized beagle mixes.

Would this be good for a beagle? His coat is short but dense.
- I have an older Basset/Beagle who is constantly shedding. We use it each day for a few minutes before one of our walks. Amazing! The yard looks like someone ran a dog through a paper shredder (minus the gore). Make a Huge difference in the hair I have to clean up in the house and she feels better too!

Would this work great on west high land terrier? Or would I be better off with the one for long hair?

I have a Furminator descending tool for my small med-long hair cat. How much undercoat should I remove at a time and how often should I use it?
I bought a Furminator for short haired dogs after my girl's bath earlier this week. She's starting to shed due to the change in weather. Though, I've noticed some complications with her fur. The hair on her lower back and shoulders comes out easily, which is great! However, the hair on her mid back is more coarse/rough and takes more effort to comb. Is there something wrong? Do I need a specific shampoo to make it softer? What should I do? Pics: 1. Her entire back. 2. Soft fur. 3. Rough fur.
What is a Furminator???? Can i use it on my lab??? Is it safe??? If yes which is the best??? He is shedding lots of fur
I have always used a Dog Comb to comb the Winter coat from my dogs - both long and short-haired breeds. Now, there is the Furminator. I tried it, and I find the Dog Comb is better to get the Undercoat combed off the Dog. I find you have to use the Furminator, which is too sharp, to brush them down to the skin, irritating the skin. What is your opinion on combing out Winter Hair on Dogs? (long and short breeds). I used to groom all sorts of breeds of dogs, using a Dog Comb.

I am trying to find a grooming brush that would help me with my corgis. I don’t want something that will pull too much fur, I don’t want something that will hurt them. I do have a grooming glove but it doesn’t work as good as I thought.
