Questions
I have two black lab mixes not very long hair but shed a lot. Is this the right one
- Great question! Typically the short haired version will be best for a lab. For more help contact FURminator at PetSupport@spectrumbrands.com.

Would this work well on a 100lb German Shepherd? He is shedding tremendously and we are trying to deshed him just a bit?
- I have a big ole' GSD as well. My guy is a long coat, and I have noticed that even the brush for the long hair tends to rip/tear at his long fur. It works really well on his legs and head where the hair is short, but not so well on the long hair.

Is the furminator blade replaceable?
- The deShedding edge is not replaceable. So that we can answer your other FURminator questions please contact us at PetSupport@spectrumbrands.com.

Would I use the large brush for long haired dogs or the one for short haired dogs to brush a Rottweiler? He doesn't have long hair like a Golden but not short like a Boxer. Somewhere in between.
- If the majority of your dogs coat is shorter than two inches, then you'll want the short haired tool. If the majority of the coat is two inches or longer, then you'll want the long haired tool.

How often are you to use this brush? I have a German shepherd/yellow lab mix that is blowing his undercoat right now.
- Twice a day, 3x in the same area.

I have a retriever/ collie. I’m thinking to get the large one. Can I use it everyday? Or only after the shower?
- I would not recommend using this brush everyday.

What size of FURminator should I use for a husky and a golden triever?
- We have the yellow handled furminator - not sure what size. It works very well on our Sheherd/husky mix.

Is it good for shar/peis with thick undercoat? Dog weighs about 70 pounds
- Yes. Definitely get the one for long coats. Even though Shar/peis are on the shorter side. The short haired ones are more for lab coats

Is it good for Pomerenians?
- It works great for my rottweiler, shepherd hound dog mix. It works better after a bath while still wet or with the Furminator de-shedding spray.

Is this brush good for using on German Shepherds and Golden Retrievers and can it be used on puppies (under a year old)?
- Thanks for asking! Yes, the deShedding tool is great for both of those breeds and puppies. For help selecting the right tool contact FURminator at 1-800-645-5154. We are happy to help!
