Please do not buy this product! I used this on my dog and after, she had scabs on her back. Went to the vet and was diagnosed with furunculosis, caused by the same bacteria that was found in their conditioner. Ive been dealing with this company for 3 months now, and still no answers. They are a nightmare.

De shedding shampoo

I've already bathed my dogs twice with shampoo and it works wonders, my dog hardly shed at all anymore. I should of bought this along time ago. I've gone and spent a lot of money in shampoos that just don't work. I am very happy and relieved cause I don't have to keep on wasting money in cheap shampoos.

Awesome product for pets that shed heavily. I've been using it for over a year and it has greatly reduced the amount of Husky fluff flying around. #HuskyFriendly #MustHave Sucks that they more than doubled the price late last year though. :/

Works...but dog smells now

This product works quite well for controlling shedding. It reduced my GSD's shedding by a lot. But it makes him smell very quickly. Not sure if that's just a consequence of not shedding as much?

We were looking for a new possible shampoo for our dogs because the shedding is just out of control. Saw this Furminator shampoo & conditioner at PetSmart so we figured we'd give it a try. Apparently it worked wonders when washing our golden, because a lot of hair came off. Fast forward a few days, and she has a scab on her back that made her wince when I touched it, and we keep finding more - my husband says "they're all over her back" Extremely disappointed in this and would never recommend to anyone - I'll actually make sure to tell people to steer clear of this one.

My groomer told me she uses this every three weeks and her dog never sheds EVER. She said it's because it removes the undercoat before it can grow and shed. Would you agree?

    It helped reduce shedding for about 10 days.  It doesn’t  eliminate it completely, but definitely helps reduce the shedding.  It makes my dog’s cost super soft.

    Same as for humans, the shampoo cleans and the conditioner softens and conditions. We use both to get all the extra undercoat loosened and also because we like how soft it leaves our pup’s fur.

Can you use this on cats? I really like the smell and really need to give my new kitten a bath.

    You should NEVER use dog products on cats and especially on kittens. What is gentle and safe for a dog/puppy may be very unsafe for your cat/kitten.Many dog products contain substances that are toxic/fatal to cats as they absorb chemicals very readily through their skin. If a product is labeled that it is safe for use in both cats and dogs that would be different. But products sold for use on dogs could possibly sicken or even kill your feline pet. There are many excellent care products formulated specifically for cats and kittens . Please use ONLY these on your cats/kittens to be safe and certain.
