My groomer told me she uses this every three weeks and her dog never sheds EVER. She said it's because it removes the undercoat before it can grow and shed. Would you agree?
- It helped reduce shedding for about 10 days. It doesn’t eliminate it completely, but definitely helps reduce the shedding. It makes my dog’s cost super soft.

what is the difference between furminator shampoo and conditioner for dogs ?
- Same as for humans, the shampoo cleans and the conditioner softens and conditions. We use both to get all the extra undercoat loosened and also because we like how soft it leaves our pup’s fur.

Can you use this on cats? I really like the smell and really need to give my new kitten a bath.
- You should NEVER use dog products on cats and especially on kittens. What is gentle and safe for a dog/puppy may be very unsafe for your cat/kitten.Many dog products contain substances that are toxic/fatal to cats as they absorb chemicals very readily through their skin. If a product is labeled that it is safe for use in both cats and dogs that would be different. But products sold for use on dogs could possibly sicken or even kill your feline pet. There are many excellent care products formulated specifically for cats and kittens . Please use ONLY these on your cats/kittens to be safe and certain.

Looking for pills/vitamins/medicine recommendations for my dogs excessive shedding. He has a corn, soy, chicken and wheat free diet I bought him a shed defender aswell. And I brush his teeth and fur everyday. I am looking for ways to prevent EXESSIVE shedding.

Hello, I have read that due to Boston Terrier's short coat and dryer skin, that it's important that I take care of her skin and coat by using a high quality shampoo with a high quality conditioner in it that both have the best and right ingredients in them "specifically for a Boston". I feed my dog Nutrience Sub Zero Puppy food, he is 5 months old and the last month he has started licking and biting his fur off at the legs and sides. He has flea medication in a pill form. Pet Pantry said flea allergin maybe. Owner car wreck gone 7th month- gave. Stopped rawhide & was going to get new dogfood. Have insurance - but not outright . Used borax and peroxide rinse - said for relief mites or itch & gave relief- said once week.
