Helps with shedding

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a golden retriever that’s sheds an incredible amount of hair. I’ve never found a shampoo or conditioner that’s claims to help. I used our normal shampoo and the Furminator conditioner. It helped remove the extra loose hair and gave her hair and nice softness. I was surprised to see that it’s very inexpensive as well. I’d like to try the shampoo and conditioner together.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging was well received. Bathing my dogs and using this has made their coat so soft and shiny; the hair loss has diminished tremendously. I am thankful I received this conditioner to try. This is a definite improvement from last spring/summer hair loss. You could see the hair on the floor-now it’s minimal. Just here and there. And using a furminator comb after the bath after this works wonders.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Influenster and brand FURminator in exchange for my honest review. The bottle itself was packaged very well allowing it to be delivered free of leakage or spills. I believe it smells decent for a dogs shampoo and is not too overbearing. However, I have a dog whose breed is German Shepherd/Alaskan Malamute. So with that being said I am not sure I will ever fully get rid of the shedding or completely have him deshedded. I will admit that his fur does not clump up as much if he is brushed daily. The texture of the shampoo is smooth and lathers into the fur easily. Overall this shampoo I believe is worth your money depending on the breed of dog you have (some breeds will just forever shed 24/7.

I thought that since it was conditioner it would make my dogs coat a little more soft then usual, but didn’t really tell a difference from products I’ve used before. The size bottle was good so if purchased it would make me feel like I got a good deal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you have a husky or other double coated breed you need deshedding shampoo and conditioner in your routine. You can really tell the difference when you use these products over standard shampoo and conditioner. This stuff leaves my dog’s fur so soft and shiny and gets out extra impacted fur that brushing misses. The smell is so good, but not overpowering for the pup. I only wish I was sent the shampoo and conditioner as a set so I could get the full experience. Formulas like this are always better when you use them in conjunction.

How do I get my cat to stay in the bath long enough to shampoo & condition her? She hates baths, but she needs something to help dry skin & shedding.

    Mine also enjoys hopping into the post-used shower & tub, and dunking paws into clean-toilets or her water bowl - she just tolerates getting her own water bath. What I've found living w/ 6 cats over the course of 27 years is: get a partner to help. If you don't have a sink that is positioned at a good height/size for bathing, get into your tub (with stool for you to sit on if needed) & keep hands-on contact with your kitty. Let your partner help maneuver/hand you things such as the water hose, shampoo, etc. I've also found that a shower-hose is *essential* to successful kitty bathing. You can do the cup-wetting method, but it's longer especially for a thorough rinsing... I've been bathing my current kitty (14y/o) since she & her bro were 10 wks old... was monthly, then less, now occasional. I can do it solo, but a buddy to help discourage her from jumping out & to hand me things helps a lot. And if Kitty hasn't been used to baths, it is that much harder. I'd also suggest that her claws be clipped either right before, or recently (depending on how mad Kitty gets & retaliates). I don't know if lavender has the same relaxing effect it does on humans - I've always either used a kitty-shampoo (conditioning type) or in a pinch, basic baby shampoo. Good luck! I'm running into the situation of having to bathe my cat more often since my parents & I moved in together, and Mom is allergic to longer-haired cats.
