My dog loves his plush and suede bed I bought him 2 years ago. I decided to get him a new bed and tried the quilted one thinking it would be cooler to sleep on. He would not sleep on it for a few months. I decided to wash the cover and maybe that would make it softer since its a little stiff feeling. It was tough getting the head rest and foam out. It was even tougher trying to put it all back together and zip the headrest back inside. He ended up sleeping on it, but always goes back to his old plush one. I should have returned it, but didn't feel like trying to package it as it is a Large size.

The bed is filled with egg crate foam and a thin layer of memory foam. My dog has laid on the bed now for several weeks and I am seeing a depression in the center. The bed came deflated and compressed. A solid layer of foam would have not compressed so much. For the price it is a decent bed. I will be replacing the foam layer with a solid piece of foam. The cover is better quality.
