My arthritic senior kitty appreciates the self-warming feature, and every night sleeps on the one on "her" side of the bed. I got the snow leopard pattern, and it coordinates perfectly with her fur! Great for arthritic (or any) cats.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know why but my cats do not like this bed. I thought with the colder weather they could use a warmer bed. I've placed it in several of their favorite spots, no luck. However, it is a nice thin bed, good quality, and soft. It just didn't work for my cats.

So far my cat hasn't paid much attention to it, but we've only had her for a week. This mat will be perfect once the weather starts to cool down. I like that it's self-heating.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was big enough for my dog. She was a bit confused with it as it was added to her safe place "bed" but after the sniff test( and a bribe ). She tried it and she decided it was a good layer for her floor bed. As apposed to her couch beds, her full size share with mom bed, and her orthopedic living room bed also from Furhaven. Thanks for another great product

I have both the small and the large versions of this mat. My Cornish Rex cat loves the small one with a blanket on top, but sometimes he wakes up and cries because he's gotten too warm! He's not very bright so someone has to remove the blanket for him. The small mat is more than large enough for him My elder dog with alopecia uses the large mat at bedtime, she loves to curl up on it and stay toasty all night. She's about 60 pounds and it's just the right size to curl up on for her. Sometimes one of my other kitties lays on the large mat when the weather is poor, she's older and has arthritis so I think the warm bed helps her. The mats are nice and soft too.
