Are these shipped using FedEx or UPS or Post Office? I assume they are shipped in a styrofoam box with dry ice?

  1. I recieved mine shipped with a large chunk of dry ice in a tightly sealed styrofoam lined box. I don't remember who it was through but it was overnight shipping with tracking. From when it left the warehouse to my front door was pretty quick and I live in the middle of nowhere! It sat on my front porch for most of a workday but was still nicely frozen when I got home thanks to the thick styrofoam lining. I admit it wasn't a hot summer day but it was no winter wonderland so I was a bit worried so I was happy to find I still had a fist sized chunk of dry ice to use for some cool science education for my kid when I finally brought it in! I would have continued to use this service but after a successfully rehabilitation we found a new forever home and are now onto new rescues that don't need frozen rats/mice. I hope you found this helpful!

Are they measured nose to rear or nose to tip of tail?

  1. They are measured from nose to rear , tail is not included in the length measurement.

Is the three inches from top of the nose to the tip of the tail?

  1. No. When measuring rodents, we measure them from the nose to the butt. We do not include the tail in the measurements of the rodents.

Are they all the same size and match the same size it says they are

  1. I ordered 10 pup rats and none of them weighed the 30+ grams they advertised 9 of them were under 25 grams (with 1 16g and 1 17g) and one weighed 28 grams

Are they individually wrapped?

  1. No. They are all in a single resealable bag
