Flea infestations problems are complex. The life cycle of fleas means that new adults can be emerging daily. If there are animals in or around your house that are not on a flea prevention product, then fleas will continue to be a problem. All animals around the house need to be on flea prevention every month. Non-domesticated animals like raccoons and opossums are visiting the places where your dogs live can help feed fleas and allow them to lay eggs. All dogs and cats in the household need to be treated with a species appropriate product to fully control existing flea populations.

Do not reapply FRONTLINE® SHIELD for Dogs for 30 days. Use once monthly to break the flea life cycle. You are likely seeing NEW fleas on your pet, which are jumping on your pet as it moves through infested areas in and around your home. Depending on the severity of the existing infestation, you may continue to see new fleas jumping on your pet for three months or more. FRONTLINE® Shield for Dogs (XS, 5-10 lbs)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] FRONTLINE® Shield for Dogs (XS, 5-10 lbs) was very easy to apply topically to my small dog. 3 doses come in a box (3 month supply). It works to fight/shield your dog from adult fleas & their eggs (& larvae), ticks, mosquitoes, chewing lice, & stable flies. One dose lasts one month.

MAKING MY DOG WORSE after 48 hrs! DON’T WASTE $❗️

ItchingAng

I thought when I bought this Frontline Shield it was covering eradicating multiple pests & it’d start helping immediately since it’s topically applied. When my dog didn’t get 1 iota of relief, I reread the instructions - apparently it can take 48 hrs before you see results. WELL! is MORE itching & frustration considered “results”? Absolutely NOT! Now she’s bothered at her whole head….did the parasites move from the back of her neck where Frontline was applied up to her head?!? My poor dog is normally cheery & perky but now looks discouraged & exhausted from not getting any relief. She’s looking to me often now as if to communicate, “Please help me!”. She’s miserable! (She DID get some relief from ME applying straight organic raw COCONUT OIL to a 1” x 2-3”long bare patch on her backside where she lost fur from all her crazed biting [not reachable for her to scratch with her nails].) I chose Frontline’s Shield over Plus (👈lousy reviews!) & the other one because it had better reviews & seemed to cover more parasites. TOTAL BUST! Frontline should guarantee their product & refund for those it didn’t work for. $47 (and that’s on sale!) for a worthless product is appalling. Had I expected this to occur, I would’ve skipped this and without delay made an appt to the holistic vet!

No, I do not recommend this product.

FRONTLINE Shield for Dogs Does a Good Job!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use FRONTLINE Shield for Dogs Does and it works great on our black lab mix. He stayed flea and tick-free all season when we used this. We have a large yard that backs up to the woods, so we were worried about fleas and ticks. But FRONTLINE Shield for Dogs did its job and kept him protected all season long.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a very active pup who enjoys the outdoors and chasing chickens. We were able to use this before our vet visit with no issues. Went on well, dog didn’t seem to mind and we did not find any ticks on him.
