One version fits all cats

CozyKat

This OTC product is a little cheaper than the RX which the Vet sold us. I like this one instead of it's competitor because it can be used on all our cats. We don't have to buy 2 versions.

Yes, I recommend this product.

This flea medication irritated the fleas and had them jumping everywhere. Not sure if they were dying or not. Either way, my cats still have fleas.

No, I do not recommend this product.

You are likely seeing NEW fleas on your pet, which are jumping on your pet as it moves through infested areas in and around your home. Depending on the severity of the existing infestation, you may continue to see new fleas jumping on your pet for three months or more. If you need anything further, please call 888-637-4251.

Made the fleas worse....SUPER FLEAS

Son of Christ

Went through the entire 3 month supply and now my cat scratches every day. Seems to have simply weeded out the smaller fleas. They're definitely bigger than the ones she had before I started the first dose.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Followed instructions carefully, did not work as advertised. Re-applied 2 weeks after since my cat still had fleas, and again it did not work. What a waste of money.

Flea infestations problems are complex. The life cycle of fleas means that new adults can be emerging daily. If there are animals in or around your house that are not on a flea prevention product, then fleas will continue to be a problem. All animals around the house need to be on flea prevention every month. Non-domesticated animals like raccoons and opossums are visiting the places where your cats live can help feed fleas and allow them to lay eggs. All dogs and cats in the household need to be treated with a species appropriate product to fully control existing flea populations.

Do not reapply FRONTLINE® Plus for Cats for 30 days. Use once monthly to break the flea life cycle. You are likely seeing NEW fleas on your pet, which are jumping on your pet as it moves through infested areas in and around your home. Faulty advertising

vIt was great except for the faulty advertising. Signs in many places said "If you buy three, you get the fourth one free"; however there were never three or four of many of the items with that sign. The sales person said that people had been asking about this all day.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Did the formula change? I have used Frontline for years with no problems. The last two boxes I used did not work. My cats still have fleas. I hate to buy another box.

Will Frontline Plus keep chiggers off my cats and from biting them?

  1. Chiggers are not on the label for FRONTLINE® Plus.

What's the difference between Frontline Plus (green pkg) and Frontline Plus Gold?

  1. I’m not exactly sure but I believe the ‘gold’ frontline might be a stronger dose

Will front line plus treat ear mites and worms in cats

  1. The label does not state that it treats ear mites. The label does state that it kills fleas which can be the source of intestinal parasites.

I probably got half of it on the skin. Is that alright?

  1. I think some is better than none. But, I too have issues with cats jumping when I try to apply the Frontline. Not sure what they can do to make it easier.

When applying the treatment to my cats, can they stay inside? Won't the fleas jump off and move somewhere in my house? Or should I keep my cats outside for some minutes after applying?

  1. I have used this product for many years and I have never seen a flea jump off my cats into the house because I applied it

The product says it kills adult fleas less within 24-48 hours. Does that include flea eggs?

  1. I Googled the ingredients. Here’s the answer. FRONTLINE Plus for Cats has 2 tough killing ingredients. The 1st, fipronil, kills adult fleas and ticks. The 2nd, (S)-methoprene, attacks flea eggs and larvae. They work together to kill all month long.

will this kill ear mites?

Will Frontline for cats kill ear mites?

    1. Frontline also kills ticks. I have used frontline for over 5 years now and my 2 cats have never gotten ear mites. This product is the best. I have also used products from my Ver that cost more money and this still works better.

    Who manufactures Frontline Plus?

    1. Thank you for your question. Merial manufactures Frontline products.
