My senior cat (14) stopped eating his regular dry cat food. I did try a couple new different kinds but he just wanted wet food. Now he seems to bore of that quickly so I have switching up brands. Is there a certain brand/flavor you recomend? I went from Friskies to Iams. Now he is eating Fancy Feast. I just don't know what's best to do.
My two 13 year old cats have not been eating very well lately, and are looking pretty thin. I thought it might be their teeth, so I feed them Friskies soft food alternated with pretty high quality dry food, but they don't seem very interested in either. Are there any weight gain or highly appetizing foods you can reccomend? Would fresh food be more appetizing to them? (Provided the food is non-toxic) Thank you for help!
I switched my cats food from dry to soft because their vet found they gained too much weight on dried food. I give them one 5.5 oz can each in the morning and at dinner time. Why do they seem so hungry all the time now? Can I add dried food to the soft food for substance?
I have 10 cats all ranging from 1-5 years of age. I have been feeding them wet/dry mix food. They are eating Purina one Urinary tract health in both wet and dry food. Is this ok to give them that kind in both wet and dry or should I consider mixing the Urinary health dry food with the Purina beyond wet food instead? Thank you
Hi Is it ok to give a variety of canned food flavors for Thanos or should I stick to one flavor?? He s not liking the dry food lately so I thought I changed it up for him and he loves it...but I want to know if it's ok to give him a variety of flavors
Which is the best premium cat wet food out of Fancy Feast, Pro Plan and VIP Fussy Cat Grainfree+? Any other recommendations? TIA.
I've been feeding my cats Candidae food, dry hairball control kibble and wet food 2x/day. They like the dry, but LOVE the wet. However t's quite expensive and that brand only carries 3 oz cans of wet food which makes calculating feeding amounts difficult. I want to make sure I'm feeding them the best and most cost efficient way. What would you recommend feeding them, and how, and how much? Do their weights (attached photo) seem healthy?
One of my cats eats any kind of food for about a week and then wants nothing to do with it. I have switched flavones and between dozens of premium canned food to freeze dried and it's the same story. I'm really tired of looking for food now. please help.
my 12 months cat eats small amount of dry food is it normal?
My cat is a 1&1/2, he started out throwing up the dry food, so I switch him to fancy feast salmon patted. So long period of time he would only throw up like twice a month maybe, I recently switched to 9 lives patted and he was fine for 2 weeks, now today he has throw up 3 times, in other words every time he has eaten. He is not spayed as of yet. Please help, I really don't have the money for taking him in to vet for them to run a lot of expensive tests.
One of the many options I have considered for my senior cat with FLUTD is giving him an all canned food diet. He currently eats dry food and some wet. When I look at the can, the feeding suggestions state 1 can per 2.5 pounds. So that would be about 4 cans. He’s lucky to finish an entire can in a day. Does this indicate that a canned diet might not be best or do some cats eat less than than that suggestion or because he has dry too? I’ve only ever gave cats dry food so this all new to me. Thanks
