Gibbs my new 1yr old cat, he's familiar with the pink round platform ball trackor on the left. Because he had one to play with at the Northshore Animal League. At 1st he's would pounce the scratch not understanding he could scratch it as well, until I pour a little catnip on it..its organic, but wondering if it's alright brand? Or if there is a better idea to help him also understand vertical scratch post as well. as you can see he understands, he's not grasping vertical post besides walls/sofa

Hello. My 10 month old male cat loves biting and eating string-like items. Recently we’ve found the rat toy has a missing tail. My tank top also has lost its shoulder strings. Is this normal? Should I be worried that it has consumed all those? Is there any way I can prevent it from doing this in the future (besides putting those away)?

Hi, We’ve gotten mindy a bunch of different toys for her and her sister to play with. They dont like any of them. So when we got a kitten and got him lots of toys mindy loved playing and chewing the cat toys. Merlin is a tom cat adopted from the SPCA he catches our neighbors birds . If we put a collar with a bell to scare the birds will HE be OK ?
Occasionally my kittens will play with and bite my hair. They have plenty of toys but sometimes when cuddling that want to mess with my hair. It's not annoying or anything and they don't play with it roughly but I'm worried it might be because of something bad. Is this nornal for cats to do?
