[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time trying the Vital brand and I really like knowing how clean it is and all the simple ingredients it had. A little goes a long way and it stayed so fresh for days.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Started using this in cayennes food and he loves it! Seems like pretty good ingredients and doesn't make my pup sick. He's been having issues after starting chemo, so I was hesitant to add this but seems pretty okay!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog is obsessed with this food! I love that it’s healthy, that it’s ready to serve (you don’t have to cook it), and it comes with a portioning guide on the bag. My dog seems happier, more energetic, and healthier because of this food. It’s worth the price!

My dogs love the taste

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this fresh pet vital large breed in bc exchange for my pups honest review lol 😂 they both love it and get excited to eat each meal. Their coats are even better than before and their teeth are healthy. Here they are trying to herd to me to the kitchen to eat their breakfast and dinner! The only reason we probably won’t convert fully to this is both of our Goldens have really sensitive guts and have tried sooo many diets/food to get them their healthiest. This has been okay (because I know it takes time to fully transition) however, the only food they’ve ever been able to stay in consistently has been prescription food without developing gut issues over time. They definitely seem to enjoy the taste of this food better. And any dietary issues they’ve had has likely been from incorporating this food in transition wise, not because they’re technically sensitive to the food itself. As far as price goes… it may be too pricey for some. My dogs are already on super pricey food. Which stinks but their health means more to me. My opinion is if you’re willing to bring a dog or pet home into your family… you should be willing and able to treat them like you would the rest of your family. If you want your pet to have the best chance at a long healthy life… they should be fed well with a balanced, nourishing food. I know that not everyone has the funds to spend on a very pricey food. But, I believe it’s a little selfish to adopt or bring home a pet if you can’t at least consistently feed them well. It doesn’t mean it has to be expensive. But, the ingredients should be quality and if they’re suffering from undesirable symptoms then that’s probably not the food for them. So far this food seems to be of good quality. They’ve eaten the fresh pet that comes in the refrigerator in the past. They loved that as well. But, that one is even pricier and is a little harder to feed and travel with. As it requires planning to thaw out if it’s frozen and not have too much already thawed as it will go bad quickly (like most if not all fresh pet food that’s wet or non kibble based). I like that this is easier to feed and doesn’t require the pre planning yet is still more similar to a fresh food in the sense it comes in natural looking pieces of food vs. small round or hard/shaped kibble. This food is still relatively soft although formed. My dogs have enjoyed and I’m considering continuing to add some to their rx food indefinitely. So long as they continue to not have any dietary issues. So, they can enjoy their meals more and get a wider variety of nutrition and protein. Thanks Petco and Fresh Pet/Influenster.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog was super excited to try Fresh Pet's Vital large breed dog food. This was a 5lb bag, about 12 meals. Its fresh and stays in the fridge. I love that its made with chicken beef, egg and salmon. Also it has pumpkin and spinach! My dog seems to love the taste and is so excited to eat this. I love how its healthy. Please make sure to gradually introduce this fresh food to your dog or it will upset their tummy! Overall its a great food that they love.
