Questions
Has anyone experienced seeing a yellow color over the chicken after the 3 days of opening the bag? This happened to me multiple times. I ordered first from Walmart, then Target, then Safeway, and now Petco. All the same problem!

When does a bag of unopened Freshcuts shredded Chicken expire? Can it be frozen to preserve freshness?
- I just started buying this food, the shredded Chicken. The first bag I did not freeze and found that it did start to taste funny by the 5th day. My 3 dogs were gobbling it up the first 3 days and by the 4th and 5th they picked. So the second bag and any bag now I freeze. I freeze it in 4 cup portions and the dogs have no problem eating it. I believe it is just as fresh coming out of the freezer the day of feeding as the day I first opened the bag. I do mix mine with some white or brown rice. A cup of rice with peas or green beans to 2 cups freshcuts. I am glad I found this because I am use to making their food homemade every day (boiling chicken or turkey) and when it got to be very hectic with work and our dinners....this was a time saver.

Can the roll of Vital chicken flavor be frozen?
- When working in the stores attending to the Fresh Pet coolers & products it says on the shipment ie Box DO NOT FREEZE. It is recommended not to freeze any Fresh Pet products. When we get them in the stores. If they come in frozen (accidents happen) the Fresh Pet food is credited & discarded.
