[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free product in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own and my dogs. #ad #sponsored Vital Dog Freshpet Vital Small Breed Beef, Turkey & Lamb Receipe looked good. I like that you can see it through the packaging. I don't care for storing it in the bag in the refrigerator. It did seem fresh and moist. My dog was a little unsure at first but then she did eat it up. It is a little pricey for a small package. I would do this more as a add in to crunchy food.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this food for our miniature Goldendoodle and she seemed to love it. It’s not everyday that she gets something fresh with natural ingredients that is not dry food. It also seemed to digest well as she did not show any symptoms of an upset stomach. All around a great meal for dogs in our experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hard to find locally all the flavors BUT when you do, it's a win! My dog LOVES this brand.. she likes it very cold though. Listen, my dog doesn't have many teeth but she eats this like it's prime rib! There are also options for dogs with limited diets and limited teeth! Smells isn't bad, not nearly as bad as canes dog food. The value is good, not super expensive. The packaging is durable.. the bags are resealable but the rolls you have to put in a bag or container. And that's just to keep the freshness and you'd have to do it anyway..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been really happy with this Freshpet Vital Small Breed recipe. The ingredients look fresh and high quality, and I love that it’s gently cooked instead of overly processed. My dog gets excited at mealtime and finishes the portion without leaving leftovers, which is not always the case. The portions are easy to serve, the food smells clean, and it feels like a healthier option compared to traditional dry food. Overall, it’s a great choice for small dogs who can be picky eaters.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] "I recently tried Freshpet Vital for my dog, and the experience has been very positive. The first thing that stands out is its freshness; you can really tell the quality of the real ingredients when you open the package. The appearance is very natural and the consistency is soft, which makes feeding much easier. Regarding portioning, the 1lb format is extremely practical for small breeds, allowing me to serve the exact amount without any waste. Additionally, I’ve noticed a significant improvement in her digestion, which is my number one priority. My pet loves the flavor of this beef, turkey, and lamb blend! My dog is very picky and hardly likes anything, but she loved this product so much that she didn't leave anything in her bowl. I received these products from Influenster for testing purposes."

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Freshpet Vital Small Breed dog food is wonderful! Very fresh and soft. My dogs absolutely love it. I love the natural ingredients that make me feel good about giving it to my dogs. They deserve the best after all. It does need to be refrigerated but the bag is small enough that it doesn't take up hardly any space. It reseals well and keeps the food fresh.

Questions

1 - 1 of 1 Questions

Can this be frozen until ready to use

  1. Hi there, once opened, the recipe should be used within 7 days as it is gently cooked, all natural and contains fresh meat without preservatives. While our food is made to be served fresh from the fridge, you can feel free to freeze it in pre-portioned daily servings upon opening. When you're ready to use it, just thaw a portion overnight in the fridge for the next day's feeding. Keep in mind that the texture and moisture may change slightly after freezing, but the nutritional value stays the same. Hope this helps! -Vina
