The normal daily feeding amount for a healthy adult dog: 4-10 lb. dog feed 3/4 - 1 1/4 cups per day, 11-20 lb. dog feed 1 1/4 - 2 1/4 cups per day, 21-35 lb. dog feed 2 1/4 - 3 1/4 cups per day, 36-50 lb. dog feed 3 1/4 - 4 1/4 cups per day, 51-65 lb. dog feed 4 1/4 - 5 1/4 cups per day. *Add 1 cup. for each 20 lbs. beyond 65 lbs.

- I was told by the manufacturer that once the bag is open, it should be used within one week. Questions regarding a product such as this should be asked to the manufacturer, they make the product and distribute it.

- Not sure about %, but as I mentioned in my review, it seems to be a little high, since the dog drinks more than usual after eating it.

How long does an average package last? Is this more of a weekly purchase as soppose to my monthly bag of normal food I buy?
- I buy the large bag (best value) and take out a week of food for my 12 pound Maltese. I freeze the rest. Then I take out a week at time. I’ve never had any problems - been doing it this way for three years.
