[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Freshpet Vital Healthy Aging Chicken and Salmon Recipe appears to have a palatable taste and texture as well as a pleasant scent and texture. Our dog enjoyed it and he thought it was a treat when he got it. It seems like a healthy option, but it is not the most cost-effective. However, we used it in place of one mealtime and it lasted a good amount of time. Unfortunately, we were not able to try it long enough to see changes in skin, coat, and joints. We are considering making this a every day meal option and will update should it produce notable improvements to his overall health. It was also a good way to give him his medicine. Making it a multitasking food/treat option, making it a more cost-effective option. It can be a meal, a treat, and a medicine dispenser all in one.
